Who You Are
You are an experienced Social Worker, ideally with a strong background in managing complex Adults Mental Health cases. You excel in working with multidisciplinary professionals and have experience with S117, attending ward rounds, working with Housing and brokerage, handling Court of Protection applications, Mental Health Tribunals, and carrying out Safeguarding Enquiries. You thrive under pressure, effectively prioritizing a fast-paced workload and proactively managing complex cases. A valid driver's license and your own transportation are required for travel within and outside the borough as needed.
What the job involves
As a full-time Social Worker for the Mental Health social care team, you will serve as a duty Mental Health Social Worker from Monday to Friday. Your duties will include working closely with various professionals, attending to complex cases, participating in ward rounds, coordinating with Housing services, and participating in Court of Protection and Mental Health Tribunal proceedings. You will also conduct Safeguarding Enquiries and handle duty work under tight deadlines.
