Holding a degree in a relevant subject or possessing equivalent experience, you have significant expertise in Adults Commissioning. You are well-versed in working with regulatory bodies like the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and have a deep understanding of pertinent legislation, such as the Care Act. You excel in strategic leadership within a politically diverse organization, managing the complex demands of public service delivery with confidence and clarity.
What the job involves
In this role, you will be responsible for the operational management of a specialist service, specifically overseeing day-to-day performance in collaboration with the relevant Head of Service. As a subject matter expert, you will lead the development and implementation of effective commissioning strategies to enhance service delivery. Your role will involve ensuring Team Managers deliver efficient and effective front-line services, maintaining high performance standards. You will also develop and implement co-production initiatives and collaborate with partners, such as health services, to achieve high levels of public satisfaction.
