You are proficient in using analytical and geospatial tools and have a deep understanding of data governance and confidentiality. You are highly motivated, politically aware, and possess excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. You have experience managing large projects and leading teams, with a demonstrable commitment to public health and reducing health inequalities.
What the Job Involves
As the Public Health Lead, you will provide strategic input for the design, planning, implementation, and evaluation of public health programs across Slough. You will manage teams and coordinate public health advice to internal and external partners. Your role involves delivering high-quality insights to inform decision-making and fostering strategic partnerships to enhance health outcomes and reduce inequalities. You will lead the day-to-day operations of health intelligence and insight programs, such as the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA), and support service delivery and transformation initiatives.

- Advanced public health and epidemiological skills
- Proficient in analytical software and geospatial tools (e.g. R, Python, Power BI)
