Role

Who You Are

You are an experienced social worker with substantial post-qualification experience in a statutory Children's Social Care setting. You possess a deep understanding of the issues facing children and their families and are able to work autonomously to provide a comprehensive and effective integrated social work service. You have the ability to practice at a higher level, including taking a lead role in a specialist area and supporting less experienced social workers.

What the Job Involves

This role involves delivering a high level of social work practice, managing complex cases, assessing and managing risk, and producing detailed assessments and reports. You will be responsible for providing expert social work interventions within a Resilience framework and working collaboratively with other professionals to promote positive outcomes for children and families. You will also act as a mentor and practice educator to less experienced social workers and participate in the Workforce Development Programme. Regular duties include attending multi-agency settings, maintaining case records, and partaking in structured time management practices.
