What the Job Involves
As the Head of Revenues and Benefits, you will be responsible for managing revenues and benefits operations at Wirral Council. The role involves leading teams to achieve strategic policy objectives, directing the implementation of a 'Digital first' approach, and ensuring high-quality customer service. You will engage in financial management, including budget oversight, and contribute to the corporate performance of the Council. You will also compile and implement the service business plan, align it with strategic objectives, and maximize government subsidies and grants.
