Who You Are
We are looking for an experienced lawyer who is a qualified solicitor, barrister, or legal executive. You should have experience working in areas such as safeguarding, child care protection, mental health and adult protection, homelessness, housing appeals, and judicial reviews. You must have experience presenting cases before courts, tribunals, or public inquiries with the right of audience on all matters and be able to prepare and process all necessary legal documents. A basic DBS check is required. You should be ready to undertake tasks immediately.
What the Job Involves
This role involves undertaking complex child care proceedings on behalf of the Local Authority (LA). You will handle Public Law Outline (PLO) and Special Educational Needs (SEN) cases and provide legal advice in planning meetings. The job requires immediate engagement in these processes to support the Client Groups/Services effectively.
