Who You Are
You are a caring individual with experience in supporting vulnerable people. You may have a Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent and demonstrate a confident, professional, and caring approach. You work well both independently and as part of a team, displaying reliability, punctuality, and flexibility. You are comfortable with change and can communicate effectively with service users, their carers, and other professionals, maintaining discretion with confidential information.
What the Job Involves
As a Care Worker, you will implement personal and social care programs specific to each service user’s Care Plan. Your responsibilities include providing personal hygiene, dietary care, and assisting with daily living and therapeutic activities in various community settings. You will be involved in mobility assistance, medication monitoring, and contributing to care plan reviews, while ensuring compliance with company policies and maintaining confidentiality. Additionally, you will participate in training and development activities and ensure health and safety standards are enforced, meeting any required regulatory and legislative vaccination regulations.
