Who You Are
A dedicated and empathetic individual with approximately 2 years of experience working in children's homes and supporting vulnerable young people. You should ideally have or be working towards an NVQ Level 3 in working with children and young people. Availability to start as soon as possible is required.
What the Job Involves
You will work in a small team to support the development of a new 2-bed children's home in Whetstone, N20. Your role will involve ensuring that young people's needs are met, protecting them from harm, and promoting their well-being. As an effective member of Egerton Children's Home team, you will assist in compliance with regulations, develop care plans, organize recreational activities, follow child protection procedures, and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders. Household duties and maintaining a safe environment are also part of your responsibilities. Flexibility in working hours and travel to Colindale offices for training and meetings may be required.
