What the Job Involves
As a Public Health Officer, you will work within the Public Health Team to ensure that team plans and performance targets are delivered, maintaining a culture of 'putting our residents first'. Your role will involve delivering health improvement programmes, planning and managing public health projects, and managing a range of Public Health Contracts. You will contribute to the design and delivery of evidence-based public health programmes and projects, working collaboratively with multiple departments, organizations, and external partners. Your responsibilities will include supporting the integration of the public health agenda within broader strategic priorities, fostering connections with key areas like climate change, housing, and community safety.
