Who You Are
You are a dedicated and registered mental health social worker with a Diploma in Social Work (DipSW), Certificate of Qualification in Social Work (CQSW), or equivalent certification. You possess substantial experience and knowledge in mental health work within a statutory framework, and you thrive in multidisciplinary team settings. Your excellent communication skills allow you to effectively engage with service users, carers, and other professionals.
What the Job Involves
As a Mental Health Social Worker in a community setting, your responsibilities will include providing assessments, care management, and social work services to adults with mental health issues, while collaborating with the Barnet, Enfield, and Haringey NHS Mental Health Trust's multidisciplinary Community Mental Health Teams. You will manage and review care plans, act as a care coordinator, and adhere to the Care Programme Approach. Additionally, you will participate in safeguarding adult inquiries, fulfill duties as an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP), and ensure compliance with Council and Mental Health Trust Policies.
