You have excellent technical knowledge and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. You should have extensive experience supervising contractors for social housing and a thorough understanding of health and safety responsibilities within a maintenance service. An up-to-date understanding of employment law and systems related to health and safety and quality assurance is also essential.
What the Job Involves
Reporting directly to the Disrepair Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality delivery of planned repairs. Your duties include attending sites with contractors, conducting inspections, authorizing payments and expenditures, and managing performance, compliance, and quality assurance. Additionally, you will ensure that health and safety procedures are followed during the repair service.

- Excellent technical and interpersonal skills

- Knowledge of H&S and QA systems
- Ability to conduct inspections and manage delivery standards
- Proficient in IT, including Excel and MS Office
