An enthusiasm to protect consumers and tackle online harm is essential for this role. While specific experience in online open-source research is advantageous, a strong background in intelligence research and development is crucial. You should be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with proven experience in analyzing information from various sources and probing for further understanding where necessary.
What the Job Involves
As an Intelligence Analyst, you will support the Disruptions Team Leader in detecting, researching, and disrupting online harm. Your responsibilities include conducting online and open-source research to identify potentially harmful content and developing appropriate intelligence logs and products. You will collaborate closely with trading standards teams across England and Wales and work with external partners such as the Police and HMRC.
