The ideal candidate for the Grade E Natural Infrastructure Officer role will be passionate about environmental conservation and sustainable development. You will have experience in data management, working with GIS software, and collaborating with community and government stakeholders. You possess strong organizational skills and the ability to support multiple projects simultaneously within the Plymouth and South Devon Community Forest team and Green Estates.
What the Job Involves
As a Natural Infrastructure Officer, you will support various projects related to tree planting, woodland creation, and green infrastructure. You will manage data, support applicants, and facilitate community planting days in collaboration with local teams. Additionally, you will be responsible for mapping and monitoring green assets, assisting in biodiversity and nature recovery projects, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting to governing bodies. Collaboration with strategic planning and production of consultation documents is also a key part of the role.
