You are an experienced officer with a strong knowledge of homelessness assessments and legislation. You have a keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Your understanding of legal notices and homelessness laws ensures you can provide accurate and reliable advice.
What the Job Involves
This role requires you to come into the office 2 to 3 days per week. Your responsibilities will include conducting first stage homelessness assessments, collating and uploading the necessary documents using the Jigsaw system. You will also need to check Section 8 and Section 21 notices for their legal validity and provide first stage legal advice in accordance with the Housing Act and homelessness legislation under Part 7.
Skills
- Experience in homelessness assessments
- Proficiency in document management (Jigsaw)
- Knowledge of S8 and S21 legal notice checks
- Understanding of HRA and homelessness law under Pt7
- Ability to provide first stage legal advice
