What the job involves
You will be responsible for carrying out building repairs, planned preventative maintenance, renewals and replacements. The role requires you to execute tasks ranging from routine reactive repairs and statutory testing to installation works. You will primarily work with Camden schools and children’s centres, but may also attend to other council-owned properties as required. You will need to diagnose compliance and building faults effectively, ensuring work is completed right the first time in accordance with best trade practices and current regulations.
Skills
- Plumbing maintenance and repair expertise
- Experience with TMVs, pumps, and water systems
- Understanding of L8 legislation
- Handheld technology proficiency
- Full DBS accreditation (Enhanced DBS required)
- Experience working in schools or commercial settings
- Full driving licence
- Strong customer service skills
- Flexible and proactive approach
