What the Job Involves
The role involves maintaining communal green spaces, pathways, play areas, and estate entrances on council estates. Responsibilities include lawn and garden maintenance, litter picking, waste removal, and seasonal tasks like leaf clearance and snow removal. You must ensure pathways and communal areas are clean and safe, report any safety concerns, and operate groundskeeping equipment efficiently. You'll interact with residents and are expected to uphold the council's service standards.
