Who You Are
You are a Qualified Social Worker with a robust background in mental health and a current or recent AMHP warranting. You possess a deep understanding of the legislative framework around mental health and social care, and you are equipped to lead, supervise, and manage complex caseloads. You exhibit excellent communication skills and can effectively build partnerships, ensuring the welfare of vulnerable adults while maintaining a focus on recovery and self-care.
What the Job Involves
In this senior role, you'll be part of the Joint Homelessness Team at Westminster City Council, focusing on reducing rough sleeping and supporting individuals with severe mental health needs. You will supervise social work staff, oversee caseloads, and ensure the delivery of social care services. This includes responsibilities like handling Care Act eligibility, managing personal budgets, and conducting street outreach. You will act as a Safeguarding Adults Manager, lead hospital discharge planning, hold a small caseload, and participate in the central AMHP rota. Your role involves a hybrid working pattern, with an office-based setup and one early morning or late evening outreach shift per month.

- Recognised Social Work qualification and registration
