As a key player in Sutton’s Children’s First Contact Service, you will shepherd early help and children's social care inquiries to ensure that every child receives the appropriate level of support. You're comfortable supervising staff and thrive in environments where you must implement robust guidance according to established thresholds.
What the job involves
In this role, you will manage Sutton’s Children’s First Contact Service as the single point of contact for children’s social care services. You will handle a range of responsibilities from supporting children in need to addressing child protection concerns. You will ensure that all referrals are streamlined efficiently through the correct pathways according to the Pan London threshold matrix, while also providing supervision to your team to maintain the highest standards of service delivery.

- Strong understanding of children's social care and early help services
