What the job involves
This role is based in Enfield Council’s Exchequer Services and involves managing the Purchase to Pay (P2P) service. You will ensure that the P2P systems are meticulously maintained and provide essential support to users, ensuring seamless purchase and payment processes to suppliers. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining the Council’s supplier file
- Creating new or amending existing supplier records with stringent verification and compliance checks with Contract Procedure Rules
- Providing end-user support for purchasing and paying suppliers
- Administering the Council Staff Purchase Cards
- Collaborating within a team to manage shared workloads and mailboxes
Skills
- Knowledge of Purchasing Support / Accounts Payable functions
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Ability to prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines
- Exceptional customer services skills and experience
