Who You Are
An experienced Social Worker with a background in Child Health & Disability, you possess a Degree or Masters in Social Work or an equivalent qualification. You have a proven track record of working effectively within a multi-disciplinary team environment around children, showcasing your capability to handle complex cases and provide high-quality service.
What the Job Involves
As part of the Child Health & Disability Team in Cardiff, you will work alongside a multi-agency team, partnering with families to develop and maintain quality service systems. You will complete Wellbeing Assessments, child protection enquiries, and develop & review care plans. The role involves attending Child Protection Conferences, Looked After Review, and Court when required, providing specialist advice across children's services, and participating in regular team meetings and duty rota. Additionally, you will demonstrate exemplary written and verbal communication skills and offer peer support to newly qualified social workers.
