Who You Are

You are an organized and detail-oriented individual with a strong commitment to providing exceptional technical and administrative support. You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and are capable of managing and maintaining accurate IT-based records. With a background in finance or business support roles, you understand the financial requirements of a local authority and possess a good level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. You are flexible, capable of working independently or as part of a team to meet tight deadlines, and possess a strong commitment to corporate policies and legislative requirements.

What the Job Involves

The role of a Market Management Assistant involves providing comprehensive technical and administrative support to the Market Management Service. You will manage and monitor procurement, voids, and repairs according to KPIs, collate and analyze performance data, and ensure accurate and robust reporting for management and performance monitoring. You'll handle team inquiries confidently, provide high-level finance support, accurately enter data into systems, and maintain updated knowledge of policies and legislative requirements. You'll liaise with various internal and external stakeholders, monitor void properties, track repairs, manage complaints, and be responsible for administrative duties through the council's information systems.
