Who You Are
An experienced and dedicated social worker with a minimum of 3 years of through care experience. You have strong interpersonal skills and a passion for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable children and young people in Worcestershire.
What the Job Involves
This part-time role (3 days a week) involves working collaboratively with children and families to address social, emotional, and environmental needs. You will be responsible for assessing risks, coordinating services, and ensuring the well-being and safety of children and young people. This includes completing necessary assessments, attending meetings, representing the Authority in court if needed, and developing multi-agency outcome-focused plans.
Skills
- Thorough knowledge of relevant legislation and policy
- Experience in through care (minimum 3 years qualified)
- Strong assessment and analytical skills
- Ability to operate independently and efficiently
- Experience in multi-agency collaboration
- Effective communication and decision-making skills
