Who You Are
As an experienced Occupational Therapist, you thrive in a supportive and dynamic environment that focuses on improving individuals' well-being. You bring a professional qualification in Occupational Therapy with at least two years of post-qualification experience. You are registered with the HCPC and have a valid UK driver’s license for conducting home and setting visits. You possess significant knowledge of Health, Housing, and Social Care legislation.
What the job involves
Your role as an Occupational Therapist will involve providing professional support and supervision to team members, designing and implementing innovative reablement plans, and managing a varied caseload. You will be responsible for conducting strengths-based assessments, delivering training, and acting as an expert advisor on equipment and decision-making. You will ensure interventions are timely and cost-effective while building strong relationships with clients, carers, and other professionals. You will facilitate clients' reablement journey by promoting independence and minimizing long-term care needs.
