What the Job Involves
The Senior Youth Justice Practitioner plays a critical role in the Integrated Adolescent Service, applying advanced expertise within the youth justice system. The role involves managing a complex caseload of children with complex needs, ensuring tailored interventions and coordinated multi-agency responses. Responsibilities extend to case oversight, assessment, and planning, report writing, risk and safeguarding accountability, and practice leadership. The role encompasses program delivery, contribution to performance targets, and mentoring of junior staff. You will also build effective partnerships with internal and external agencies while maintaining high standards of professional practice and development.
