Who You Are
You are a qualified Chartered Engineer or a full member of the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers, with ample experience in managing medium to large projects. You have a comprehensive understanding of electrical engineering, specifically in building services and project management, with a strong background in working within local authority or social housing organizations or similar roles in consultancy. What the Job Involves
As an Electrical Engineer in Islington Council’s Capital Programme Delivery - Engineering team, you will provide expert electrical engineering services, overseeing the life cycle replacement of existing electrical systems in Social Housing. You will manage a range of projects from conception through to completion including design, specification, procurement, construction, and commissioning. Key responsibilities include ensuring projects meet quality, budget, and schedule objectives, conducting stakeholder consultations, maintaining design and budget standards, and ensuring adherence to statutory regulations and standards. Additionally, you will engage with residents and various stakeholders to ensure their needs are met through high levels of consultation and service quality.
