Your role includes managing a caseload and supervising a group of staff within a large team. You work collaboratively as part of a multi-agency team to ensure seamless service delivery to users and carers. A significant aspect of your role is managing risk and safeguarding adults, and potentially children, ensuring these practices are effectively implemented. You will conduct high-standard assessments, lead complex case reviews, and chair safeguarding conferences. Your responsibilities extend to supervising social work staff, offering regular professional supervision, performance monitoring, and appraisals. You also engage in partnership and team work, promoting joint efforts with other Council departments and health entities.
