Role
Who You Are
You are an experienced legal professional with a strong background in local government law and criminal litigation. You possess recent experience in prosecutions within a local government setting and have dealt with licensing matters, including those related to the Licensing Act 2003. Ideally, you have served as a legal adviser to sub-committees. You should not expect a rate of more than £55 per hour. Ideally looking for someone with 2 years PQE.
What the Job Involves
You will support the Senior Prosecutions Lawyer to ensure the council receives a high-quality, cost-effective prosecution service. You will deliver legal advice and support in criminal law and local government law, as well as any other allocated projects.
Skills
- Recent local government experience in prosecutions
- Criminal litigation expertise
- Knowledge of Licensing Act 2003
- Experience as a legal adviser to sub-committees
- Minimum 2 years PQE (Post Qualified Experience)
