Who You Are

As a Tenancy Management Officer, you are a proactive individual with a strong understanding of housing and tenancy laws, and are dedicated to supporting residents in maintaining successful and sustainable tenancies. You hold relevant qualifications or have equivalent experience and possess a good standard of education. Flexibility and a collaborative approach are key, as you navigate complex scenarios with a focus on creative and positive solutions. You possess a full driving license and have the ability to attend out-of-hours meetings as needed.

What the Job Involves

In this role, you are responsible for managing a portfolio of tenancies and ensuring tenants are supported to uphold their responsibilities, thus preventing tenancy failures. You will employ a risk-based approach to identify and mitigate risks early and engage with relevant support services. You are expected to deliver effective tenancy management practices, address tenant inquiries, and maintain accurate records. Collaboration with external agencies and partners is crucial to ensure tenants receive comprehensive support. Additional responsibilities include contributing to service planning, attending case conferences, and participating in continuous improvement activities.
