Who You Are

An experienced and qualified social worker with a significant background in working with children and families. You have a robust understanding of social work practice and current legislation related to children and families, along with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Your interpersonal skills allow you to relate to a wide range of individuals, and you can prioritize tasks and manage your workload effectively.

What the Job Involves

This role requires you to work in partnership with children and families to address their social, emotional, and environmental needs. Your primary aim will be to safeguard and promote the welfare of vulnerable children and young people in Worcestershire. You will assess risks and needs, coordinate services for children and families, and ensure the appropriate use of resources. The job involves attending meetings, possibly representing the Authority in court, and managing day-to-day duties while maintaining accurate, confidential records.
