You are a dedicated senior carer who thrives on supporting complex cases. You have a passion for empowering adults to enhance their independence at home following illness or hospitalization. As a leader, you foster team growth, deliver quality care in line with existing policies, and maintain compliance with legislation. You are a committed professional registered with Social Care Wales, possessing a minimum level 2 QCF qualification in Health & Social Care.
What the Job Involves
This role involves line managing a team of Reablement Care Workers, providing supervision, and ensuring the delivery of a quality care service. You will monitor client cases, deliver strength-based care for complex cases, and promote service user independence. Your responsibilities include maintaining high-quality records, mentoring staff, adhering to health and safety practices, and supporting council initiatives. The role requires flexibility and adaptability to work from various locations on a rotational basis.
