Who You Are

You are a dedicated social worker with significant experience working with children and families, particularly in safeguarding environments. You possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively. Your expertise in social work theory and legislation enables you to achieve successful outcomes for children. You are adept at working in multidisciplinary teams and are committed to maintaining thoughtful records and delivering high-quality services.

What the Job Involves

The role involves working in partnership with children and families to address their social, emotional, and environmental needs. You will assess risks and needs for vulnerable children, delivering services that improve their quality of life. Key responsibilities include formulating and reviewing outcome-focused plans, attending meetings, gathering and analyzing information for assessments, and representing the authority in court when necessary. You will be part of a stable team, well-supported by a management team, and focus on ensuring children secure permanence with appropriate plans.
