Advanced Practitioner (Social Care) - Permanence Team
Who You Are
You are an experienced social worker with a minimum of 3 years of permanent statutory experience. You have excellent engagement skills with children and young people and a strong understanding of Corporate Parenting and Children Looked After legislation. As a dedicated professional, you seek to ensure stable placements and long-term improved outcomes for those in your care. You are also a car driver with access to a vehicle, and you are not currently leaving a permanent social work role in the North West region.
What the Job Involves
In this role, you will work within our Permanence Teams, focusing on children in care and children looked after. Your responsibilities will include care and placement planning, minimizing risk, and ensuring stable placements for children according to their individual needs. You will work collaboratively with a high-quality senior leadership team committed to improving social work practices in Liverpool. The position requires 3 days on-site work in Liverpool per week, with 2 days of homeworking.
