Who You Are
You are a Principal Registered Building Inspector with a minimum competency level of Class 2A-F. You possess significant expertise in building control matters and excel at providing technical advice. You are capable of managing inspection workloads and working collaboratively with internal departments. You are also prepared to assist and deputise for the Team Manager when necessary.
What the job involves
As a Registered Inspector for the Council, you will be responsible for providing expert technical advice on building control matters. You will conduct detailed inspections of building work in progress to ensure compliance with Building Regulations during plan checking and final inspections. You will manage an appropriate application case load and collaborate with internal departments and other registered building inspectors to ensure compliance on council projects. You are expected to attend the office at least two days a week and more frequently as required.
