Who You Are
You are an experienced Social Worker with a solid background in working with children and families. You possess significant post-qualifying experience in children’s social care, particularly in safeguarding and assessment. You are dedicated to promoting the welfare of vulnerable children and have a professional qualification in social work with current registration with Social Work England. Your strengths include the ability to communicate clearly, relate to a wide range of people, and work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams.
What the Job Involves
The role involves working in partnership with children, families, and multi-agency networks to address social, emotional, and environmental needs, primarily focusing on safeguarding and promoting the well-being of vulnerable children in Worcestershire. Duties include undertaking complex assessments, making safeguarding decisions, developing care plans, and attending multi-agency meetings and court proceedings. You will also contribute to service development initiatives and participate in audits and training sessions. Your role is key to delivering high-quality services that meet the statutory requirements and improve children’s and families’ quality of life.
