What the Job Involves
As an Outreach Family Support Worker, you will take responsibility for providing outreach and home-based support to families with level 3 needs. You will act as the lead professional for children stepping down from social care and ensure continued support if needs escalate to level 4. Your role will involve formulating and coordinating Team Around the Family plans, delivering targeted support programs, utilizing de-escalation techniques, fostering positive parent-child relationships, and maintaining comprehensive records. You will actively uphold safeguarding principles and adhere to Family Help Practice Standards.
