What the Job Involves
This office-based role is located in Yeovil, supporting customers who visit our offices at Brympton Way or the Customer Service point inside Yeovil Library, as well as those who contact us via telephone. You will be working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, within the hours of 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. As a Customer Service Officer, you act as the 'Front door' support for Somerset Council, handling a wide range of enquiries regarding Council Tax, Waste, Benefits, Highways, Transport, Planning, Licensing, Adult Social Care, Children's Services, and more. This temporary contract is approximately 12 weeks long, with a current end date of 30/03/2026.
