What the Job Involves

The role involves working under the Strategic Planning and Infrastructure team, contributing to development management, planning enforcement, and spatial planning. You will handle planning applications, appeals, enforcement cases, and participate in urban planning projects and research. Your responsibilities include public engagement, preparing planning policies, monitoring breaches of planning control, and providing sound advice to stakeholders. You will build strong partnerships and deliver excellent customer service while contributing to the council’s initiatives on diversity, equity, and modern working practices.
