What the Job Involves
- Leading a team of repairs operatives to ensure high standards of work quality and efficient material use.
- Functionally supervising a geographical patch or specialist service area, including general building and rapid response.
- Carrying out complex diagnostics and coordinating multi-trade repair projects.
- Providing technical guidance to maximize productivity and resident satisfaction.
- Conducting regular inspections, one-to-one meetings, and toolbox talks with operatives.
- Managing void teams to deliver within time scales and complying with health and safety regulations.
- Maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Skills
- Knowledge of building regulations and compliance
- Experience in leading and supporting teams
- Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English
- Understanding of health and safety legislation
- Proficient in troubleshooting and diagnostics across trades
- Experience with IT and mobile technology for modern working methods
