Role

Who You Are

As a Senior Practitioner, you will be a dedicated professional registered with Social Work England, holding a Social Work qualification and at least 3 years of post-qualified experience in Adult Social Care. You are experienced in line management and supervision, and adept at conducting person-centered, asset-based, outcome-focused assessments, care management, and reviews. You have a strong commitment to personalized, outcome-focused practice and a comprehensive knowledge of social work practices, legislation, and the incorporation of community assets into service provision. You are equipped to work autonomously while valuing the support of a committed workforce.

What the Job Involves

In this locum role, you will work in Adult Social Care, making a significant impact on people's lives. Working within the CAAsT Locality Team in Hereford, you will hold a small caseload and make evidence-based decisions supported by the locality management team. You will have the opportunity to work with diverse customer groups with various health and social care needs, including mental health, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, frailty, and safeguarding. Additionally, you will have the chance to build and develop your specialisms with ongoing professional development. You will be an essential part of a team supporting performance and leading practice.
