What the Job Involves

You will join a team focused on supporting individuals with mental health needs within Swindon. The role involves conducting comprehensive person-centered assessments, including mental capacity assessments, while working closely with carers in complex situations. You'll ensure timely and accurate record-keeping, contribute to local knowledge, and advocate for individuals by connecting them to available services. You will practice in line with legal requirements and undertake Best Interests decision-making. Additionally, you'll engage in safeguarding activities, represent the council in multi-disciplinary settings, and be prepared to write and present reports in court.
