Who You Are

You are an experienced social worker with a professional qualification in social work and current Social Work England (SWE) registration. You have experience in working with children, young people, or adults in statutory social care settings, including those in need of safeguarding. You possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a wide range of individuals. Additionally, you are committed to promoting equality and creating an inclusive environment for service users and colleagues.

What the Job Involves

As a social worker in the All Age Disability Service, you will work 23 hours a week from County Hall, Worcester. Your responsibilities include safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable children, young people, and young adults, assessing their risks and needs, and coordinating services to improve their quality of life. You will work in partnership with individuals and their families to address social, emotional, and environmental needs, ensuring the well-being and safety of service users. The role involves working with multi-agency networks, maintaining accurate records, and participating in supervision and training for professional development.
