You are a dedicated professional passionate about preventing family evictions and committed to safeguarding children. You possess strong social work experience, adeptness at rapid response, and a willingness to travel within the borough at short notice.
What the Job Involves
This role focuses on delivering the council's 'Homewise' Pilot through joint efforts with a Housing Options Officer. You will conduct household visits, engage with families to understand and address their needs, and co-create outcome-focused assessments and plans. Your responsibilities include planning interventions, monitoring progress, liaising with partner agencies, maintaining documentation, and providing guidance under statutory safeguarding requirements.
