Who You Are
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Team Manager to integrate into our Early Help and Assessment Team. The ideal candidate is a dedicated and empathetic leader with established experience in MASH/senior assessment within a front door setting. Candidates should have a track record of supervising social workers and IAA workers, with a strong commitment to safeguarding children and families. Residency within an hour of NP15 1GA Usk is required, and a DBS enhanced children's disclosure is mandatory.
What the Job Involves
This leadership role involves frontline decision making in our Multi Agency Hub to safeguard children and families. You will oversee and mentor staff, helping to develop and improve outcomes for these groups. Key responsibilities include managing risk assessments, chairing strategy discussions, maintaining updated records, and ensuring the team operates at a high standard. You'll also work within an evolving team looking to reshape practices, enhance risk management, and support individuals in crisis.
