You have prior experience in conducting assessments and can travel across the borough and surrounding areas.
What the Job Involves
This role assists households in temporary accommodation to secure longer-term placements in the Private Rented Sector. You'll work with clients to identify realistic housing options, negotiate accommodations, and provide advice on tenancy readiness. The position involves discharging homelessness duties, supporting access to employment and training, promoting independence, and minimizing children's educational disruption. Key responsibilities include managing a caseload, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with internal and external partners.
Hybrid working is available, with the expectation to work in the office three days a week.
