Who You Are

You are a dedicated individual with a passion for child welfare, committed to ensuring children's safety by working closely with families under Child in Need plans, Child Protection plans, and during the initial stages of court proceedings. You're eager to contribute to a team striving for an Outstanding Ofsted rating by practicing Strengths Based methods. Ideally, you are comfortable working in a central and busy location with a team-oriented mindset, attending the office a minimum of three times per week.

What the job involves

This role involves developing and implementing child protection plans in collaboration with multi-agency teams. You'll undertake statutory visits, maintain accurate and up-to-date case records, and intervene in crisis situations to ensure children's immediate safety. The job requires you to attend and contribute to child protection conferences, core groups, and court proceedings. You will work closely with families to promote positive change, liaise with various agencies to coordinate support, and provide reports and evidence for legal proceedings as needed. Regular monitoring and reviewing of cases will be necessary to ensure progress and compliance with care plans while advocating for the rights and welfare of children and young people.
