Who You Are
We are seeking experienced Social Workers for our Family Safeguarding Service at Swindon Borough Council. Candidates must have 3 years of post-qualification experience in a permanent setting, be a car driver, and work in the office 3 days per week. We cannot accommodate condensed working patterns. You must reside more than 50 miles from Swindon to qualify for travel and accommodation expenses.
What the Job Involves
As a Social Worker, you will work within a pod structure for optimal management and support, consisting of 5 Social Workers and 1 Manager. Your responsibilities include undertaking comprehensive assessments, both private and public care proceedings, achieving permanency plans for children, understanding and responding to complex risks, and analyzing interventions.
