What the Job Involves
The main purpose of the role is to manage and improve operations within the Community Health and Wellbeing service. This includes overseeing six Centres for the Community, which provide hot meals, activities for older people, and hire spaces to community groups. You will oversee and manage employees and volunteers, ensuring smooth delivery of services and transitioning to a new 'Connected Communities' model. The role involves reviewing and improving processes, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practices, and managing financial processes. You will work collaboratively with other Council teams and external partners to implement service improvements and ensure the safety of all stakeholders.
