What the job involves
As a Social Worker within the Fostering Service, your role involves engaging in various critical functions such as the recruitment, assessment, training, and support of multiple types of foster carers and families. You will work within and potentially move between the four dedicated hubs, which have specific functions in order to best serve the children and young people in care.
