Who You Are
We are seeking a repairs professional with substantial experience in handling complex cases such as decants or disrepair and minor adaptations in voids. You should have a background in maintenance related to social housing and a solid knowledge of Health and Safety requirements, basic property surveying techniques, and SOR codes. You are adaptable, collaborative, and committed to enhancing service quality. A valid driver's license and access to a suitable vehicle for daily use are required, with expenses reimbursed weekly.
What the Job Involves
Your primary responsibilities include managing the end-to-end process of decant repairs and adaptations in voids. You will oversee the work of our in-house voids team and external contractors, aiming to achieve fast re-let times and minimize rent loss. As a crucial part of the Void/Decant Service Management Team, you’ll collaborate with colleagues across various departments to enhance our void/decant services and improve performance. Your role includes monitoring all aspects of these processes and initiating improvements based on performance data and customer insights.
