What the Job Involves
This role involves leading a team of Family Safeguarding Social Workers responsible for supporting children and families under various support frameworks, including Child in Need, Child Protection, PLO, and Care proceedings. You will recruit, induct, manage, and mentor staff, ensuring their professional development and adherence to professional standards. You will manage team workloads, engage with operational leadership, establish strong inter-agency relationships, and manage resources and budgets. Your focus will be on upholding high-quality service delivery, ensuring timely responses to referrals, and maintaining outcome-focused plans for each supported child.
